Christy Smith Christy was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1990 She first became aware of the Toledo Irish American Club by attending the festival every year, starting in the mid '90's and she was elected Treasurer of the club in 2008. In 2007 Christy spent two weeks in Ireland travelling around County Clare and County Galway and hopes to retire to the Emerald Isle someday or maybe even as early next week if she wins the lottery.
